Chris Foreman's grandmother, Elena, fled her home with almost nothing: a few clothes, a small sewing kit, and a silver pendant that had been her mother's. In a new country she rebuilt a life by repairing what other people had given up on, and made jewelry for her children out of leftover thread, wire and beads.

She taught Chris at her kitchen table — how to finish a seam, how to shape wire around a stone, and that what we wear carries our history. Years later he found her suitcase in the attic, and started this workshop with what was inside it.

Every order is checked, wrapped and boxed by the same small family workshop that made it. If something is not right, tell us — we would rather put it right than have you keep it.
